Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW), Patiala, is inviting online applications for the recruitment of Act Apprentices for the year 2023-24, in accordance with the Apprentice Act of 1961. The deadline for online application registration is October 31, 2023. This notification is exclusively for Indian citizens who have successfully completed their ITI.  PLW Patiala Apprentice Vacancies:

Electrician – 140

Mechanic (Diesel) – 40

Machinist – 15

Fitter – 75

Welder (G&E) - 25

 PLW Patiala Apprentice Age Limit:

Minimum 15 years.

Maximum 22 years for Welder and 24 years 

Age Relaxation as per Government Rules.

 PLW Patiala Apprentice Salary:

During the 1st year of training - ₹7,000 pm

During the 2nd year of training - ₹7,700 pm

During the 3rd year of training - ₹8,050 pm

 PLW Patiala Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:

For Welder: 8th standard Pass, and for all other posts: Minimum 10+2 Pass.

 PLW Patiala Apprentice Selection Process:

Selection will be based on the candidates' educational qualification marks.

Eligible candidates can apply online exclusively through the PLW Indian Railway official website, plw.indianrailways.gov.in.

For New User Registration: Candidates are required to enter Login Name, Candidate Name, City, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
