Key Responsibilities


Safety and Wellbeing: Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate a culture of safety and wellbeing within your site. Ensuring the physical and mental welfare of your team is paramount.


Quality and Productivity: You will analyze and implement changes to uphold consistently high levels of quality and productivity, a critical aspect of Amazon's commitment to customer satisfaction.


Process Improvement: Overseeing projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity, and enhance service quality for customers within your area of responsibility.


Performance Analysis: Regularly assess shift performance against relevant business objectives and take actions to enhance operational excellence.


Collaboration: Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices, ensuring a cohesive and efficient operation.


A Day in the Life


Your daily routine as an Area Manager will follow a shift pattern at one of our sites. Your primary focus will be maintaining and driving a culture of safety, upholding quality standards, and enhancing shift performance. Your day-to-day tasks will encompass routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvements, and handling operational contingencies. As a leader, you will also serve as a role model and mentor to new managers, fostering a culture of growth and development.

Amazon's Customer Fulfilment (CF) team is where Amazon's remarkable journey began. From its origins as a small team of booksellers, CF has evolved into a global force that handles over 1.5 million orders daily. This team forms the bedrock of Amazon's business, enabling diversification into new regions and services. By harnessing emerging technologies, CF continually strives to offer an extensive product range delivered quickly and affordably.CF operates within Fulfilment Centers, the heart of Amazon's fast-paced Operations network, often referred to as the 'First Mile' where most Amazon packages begin their journey. Here, dynamic inventory management and round-the-clock deliveries are facilitated.

Fulfilment Centers offer a diverse range of roles, accommodating various skill sets. Some employees work with physical products, while others analyze data to support data-driven decision-making across the business.


Basic Qualifications:


A degree.

Proficiency in using the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.


Preferred Qualifications:
